An Update on arkLAB’s Response to COVID-19…Team to WFH

Just a quick note to let you know arkLAB is fully operational and actively delivering architectural services across a range of projects, client types and project locations.  Our internal collaboration and service delivery “toolkit” has been in use and constant development for a long time and we have been able to carry on seamlessly in the midst of rapidly changing: health and business environments; expert advice and government policy.

From next Tuesday, 31 March 2020, our team we will be working from home, having temporarily relocated out of the studio to comply with government recommendations and to assist in minimising risk to employees, clients and colleagues for the present.

What this will mean for our current projects:

  • Video conferencing in lieu of face-to-face meetings
  • Site inspections to be completed unaccompanied and not combined with meetings
  • Email as usual
  • Phone calls – please feel free to use mobile numbers where contacting a specific staff member (these will be in our email footers for quick reference) in lieu of our main office landline as this will not be monitored on a regular basis.

A core feature of our practice is the team of extraordinary talent we have assembled and retained, along with their ability to work together effectively across an a raft of technologies and collaboration tools.

We look forward to pressing forward with our service delivery in spite of the present challenges.

Stay safe.

Thanks.

Alan Jordan
