Our focus is the provision of architectural services aimed at innovation, personal client service and integrity.  Our approach, in achieving this end, is to commit the personal involvement of Alan Jordan (Founding Director / Architect) to each project, from inception to completion, and to support this role with a skilled team of specialists.

Meet our team

In contrast to hierarchical practice structures arkLAB operates in a “flat” collaborative model where all team members are designers, with technical, communication and administrative skills and engaged in continuing professional development.

Alan Jordan (Founding Director / Architect)  Over 30 years experience in team leadership and the design and administration of wide range of education, heritage, eco, commercial, laboratory, residential and cultural architecture.

Iain Collie (Architect) Local and international experience in the design of education, commercial, residential, heritage, industrial and cultural architecture.

Olivia Crawford (Architect)  Local and international experience in the design of education, commercial, medical, residential, heritage, and resort architecture as well as engagement in academia.

Daniel Killen (Architect)  Local and international experience in the design of mixed-use, multi-residential, education and commercial projects, including major works.

Jenny Wang (Architect) Experience in the design of commercial, education, residential and industrial projects many of which have involved rehabilitation and working with heritage structures.

Marie Penny (Architect)  Experience in the design of education, commercial, residential, laboratory and heritage architecture as well as active involvement in the Emergency Architects overseas aid program.

Serene Lim (Personal Assistant to the Director) Experience in business and the information technology sectors contributing financial management and documentation across a number of software platforms.

Faye Jordan (Administrator) Wide experience in academia and the health profession bringing administration and communication skills to the team.

Stephanie Jordan (Assistant) – Artistic talent contributing photographic and model-making expertise.
